I l M e d i c a l C a n n a b i s B i k e T o u r F o u n d a t i o n è un’organizzazione non-profit che raccoglie fondi per la ricerca cannabis medica. Il tour 2015 bici raccolto oltre 100.000 €, attraverso società di sponsorizzazione, e sta conducendo una campagna di crowd funding attraverso Walacea.
Un obiettivo principale della campagna di Bike Tour è quello di raccogliere fondi per esplorare il lavoro di un team di scienziati dell’Università Complutense di Madrid (tra cui il dottor Manuel Guzman, il dottor Guillermo Velasco e il Dr Cristina Sanchez).
Gli scienziati sono in prima linea nella ricerca scientifica sugli effetti dei cannabinoidi (THC e CBD) sul cancro e stanno ricercando il loro potenziale come trattamento di cannabis negli ultimi 15 anni. La loro ricerca è stata riconosciuta dalla comunità scientifica dopo aver pubblicato un articolo sulla rivista scientifica, Nature Magazine nel 2000 (dal titolo ‘azione anti-tumorale di cannabinoidi’).
L’obiettivo del medico Cannabis Bike Tour è quello di raccogliere fondi sufficienti per loro di testare le loro ricerche in un trial clinico con un massimo di 30 -40 pazienti di glioma (tumore al cervello). Questo processo sarà gestito da GEINO (Il gruppo spagnolo di Investigatione Neuro-Oncologica) negli ospedali spagnoli.
Il processo, che sarà totalmente indipendente, è in programma che si terrà alla fine del 2015.
Negli ultimi tre anni, il medico della canapa Bike Tour ha raccolto oltre 250.000 € per la ricerca sulle cannabis e le sue qualità anti-cancro percepite, che sono stati documentati come rallentamento della crescita del tumore e uccidere le cellule tumorali. Questo denaro è arrivato dalla sponsorizzazione di aziende.

I l p r i m o g i o r n o è v o l a t o via con una pedalata di 129 chilometri partendo da Vankelburg (Maastricht) e attraverso il Sud Olanda, Germania e Belgio.
Quasi tutti percorsi su piste ciclabili con qualche tratto in collina (ebbene sì colline olandesi!) . E non sono chiaramente mancati gli attraversamenti fluviali >*

I l s e c o n d o g i o r n o del Medical Cannabis Bike Tour 2015 inizia nella città olandese di Weert.
Pronti per la seconda tappa del viaggio, i partecipanti erano in sella per raccogliere fondi per la ricerca sul cancro che si concentra sull’uso di cannabinoidi ed è basato su una ricerca condotta da un team scientifico di Madrid.
Il tempo era bello, le condizioni erano buone e con un sacco di terreno pianeggiante.
Il ritmo del gruppo di testa, di un massimo di 20 ciclisti, è stato un coerente 30-35 km /h, con una velocità massima di 45 km /h. I gruppi di ciclisti che li hanno seguiti hanno mostrato la diversità dell’esperienza MCBT – alcuni corrispondenti alla velocità del gruppo di testa (solo con più pause per ammirare il paesaggio verde), mentre per altri piloti, si trattava di godersi un giro sotto il sole.

I l t e r z o e d u l t i m o Indimenticabile Giorno del Medical Cannabis Bike Tour 2015 parte dalla città olandese di Elst.
Dopo due giorni di sole, la pedalata finale ha avuto luogo in un tipico clima estivo da nord Europa: grigio con pioggia!
La tappa finale del tour prevede 137 km con arrivo in serata nella magica Amsterdam.

I l M e d i c a l C a n n a b i s B i k e R i d e arriva alla Festa del Cannabis Liberation Day, nel cuore di Amsterdam. Dopo 3 giorni di viaggio attraverso l’Olanda, il Belgio e la Germania, e una passeggiata in bicicletta di 420 chilometri, il MCBT ha partecipato alla Festa che si è svolta in Flevopark di Amsterdam.
I Cannabis Bikers si sono incontrati nel centro di Amsterdam per raggiungere l’evento che per tutto il giorno è stato accompagnato da musica e da interventi come quello di Emery , e da tanti approfondimenti legati al mondo della CANNABIS.
E ‘stato qui che i BIKERS hanno ricevuto la loro medaglie e una standing ovation della folla ha sottolineato l’assegno di 100.000 € mostrato dal gruppo del MCBT.
